Akshay Kumar gears up to dupe in the garb of CBI!

Here comes another heist! But this one arrives with the promise of oodles of ROFL moments

The special Chabbis, a movie directed by Neeraj Pandey, begins with short segments of news reports with reporters flaunting the perfect ishtyle of the 70s. And lo! You are introduced to the big scam that took place almost four decades ago where fake CBI officers duped several people by conducting income tax raids.

Akshay Kumar’s comic punch is bang on and Anupam Kher fakes it all perfectly. But all that till the real CBI official, a miffed Manoj Bajpai appears in their lives. And then begins the truly delightful game of chor-police.

But will Kumar and Kher’s plan to conduct the biggest scam (one that actually took place on March 19, 1987 in the Opera House branch of Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri jewelers) of their careers, with 26 (precisely why the movie has been named so) newly appointed fake CBI officials be a success? Or will Bajpai nab the wrongdoers red-handed? Time to wait and watch for the movie that releases on February 8, 2013.
