Embrace new technologies, Kamal tells theatre owners
Chennai: Kamal Haasan has urged theatre owners to work in sync with filmmakers to adopt the best of technology and offer better movie viewing experience in cinema halls.
The actor, who will release his bilingual 'Vishwaroopam' in AURO-3D, said: "We've managed to convince few theatres, but not each one of them. It's high time theatres work hand in hand with filmmakers to give the audience rapidly changing cinematic experience."
'Vishwaroopam' will be the first film in India to be released in AURO-3D, a next generation audio format that delivers full three-dimensional sound spread capable of reproducing natural acoustic space.
Kamal was addressing reporters at Satyam Cinema, which claims to be the first theatre in Asia to have AURO-3D enabled screen. He also plans to release the film in as many as 25-30 theatres that can support AURO-3D in Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
