Deepika Padukone unveils the logo of Race 2!

The 2008 suspense thriller Race directed by Abbas-Mustan and produced under the Tips Music Films banner was a big hit among the masses.

Starring Saif Ali Khan, Akshay Khanna, Katrina Kaif, Anil Kapoor, Sameera Reddy and Bipasha Basu, it was a delight for all the action and suspense lovers. If you had loved the whole concept then 2013 is to bring in to you a larger dose of the same as the director duo is all set with the sequel of it as Race 2. This time the film is said to be larger and a bigger affair. Race stars an ensemble cast that includes Anil Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez, Deepika Padukone and Ameesha Patel. The film is scheduled to release on January 25, 2013.



Recently Deepika created quite a stir online by unveiling the Race 2 logo on the social networking platform. Deepika tweeted with the Race 2 logo, "And the RACE begins!!! Here’s the LOGO...exclusively for you guys!!!" for those unaware, this logo is the first asset to be launched from the film. Fans and followers enthusiastically shared the logo within minutes of its launch. There was a huge response for an exclusive launch by the actor.

Deepika also tweeted a day before the launch, addressing her fans about the upcoming surprise. She tweeted, "Bringing in a surprise tomorrow at 12:30pm...can't wait to share it with all of you!!!"

The trailers of the film will be seen alongside the prints of Shahrukh Khan-Anushka Sharma-Katrina Kaif starrer Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Ajay Devgn, Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt and Juhi Chawla starrer Son of Sardar, both of which will hit the screens on November 13!
