Jab Tak Hai Jaan in Jalandhar
On 7th of November, Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma flew down to the hometown of late Yash Chopra, city of Jalandhar, for the promotion of their upcoming film Jab Tak Hai Jaan. All three of them greeted the media as well as their fans with a typically ‘Sasriyakal’. The people out there were very thrilled by their presence. There was a tremendous crowd gathered just to get the glimpse of the stars.
Says an insider, “It was considered as one of the most awaited city visit, where the JTHJ team had finally arrived. Yashji had always planned to visit the city for the film promotions. But unfortunately he could not be a part of it, his wonderful city Jalandhar, from where he did his schooling and spent his college days.”
SRK, Katrina and Anushka spoke their heart out to the audience, about their film, about their characters, and of course the most important reason for being there! Yashji! Some of the fun media interaction moments included SRK enacting his trademark style step, SRK saying the ‘JTHJ’ poem, SRK getting gifted army uniform by an RJ.
After the fun filled media interaction, the team headed towards Doabba, a college from where Yashji did his studies. There were about 5000 students who had gathered to see the team. It was indeed a great evening!
